endodontics.pt is the professional website of Dr. Hugo Sousa Dias, dedicated to endodontics: information for patients, information for dentists who wish to refer patients, education, scientific activity and publications.

Content is for information and education and does not replace consultation, diagnosis or treatment by a dentist. Nothing on this website constitutes individual clinical advice. In case of acute pain, trauma or swelling, contact a clinic or emergency services directly.

Information on treatments and outcomes is presented objectively and verifiably, in compliance with the rules on health advertising (Decree-Law no. 238/2015 of 14 October) and the OMD Code of Ethics. We do not publish patient testimonials, promises of results or comparisons with other professionals. Clinical cases shown are anonymised, published with the patients' written consent for educational purposes, and illustrate specific situations whose outcome is no guarantee of future results.

• Appointment request: the website forwards your request to the chosen clinic, which is responsible for scheduling and for providing care. Consultations take place at the clinic's premises, under its own fees and conditions.
• Education: course registrations are pre-registrations subject to confirmation; the conditions (programme, dates, price, cancellation policy, invoicing) are communicated in writing before any payment. No online payment is made through this website.
• Referral portal: a service reserved for dentists, governed by the portal's Terms of Use accepted at registration.

Complaints concerning professional practice may be addressed to the Ordem dos Médicos Dentistas. Complaints concerning the clinics must be filed in the respective clinic's Complaints Book; clinics are supervised by the Health Regulatory Authority (Entidade Reguladora da Saúde, www.ers.pt).

Portuguese law applies. For disputes that cannot be settled by agreement or alternative means, the court of the district of the provider's registered office has jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
